Job Title: Part and Full Time Logistics Coordinator Positions Available

JZ Expedited Logistics is successful and growing 3PL company that is based in Jacksonville and also has a satellite office in Atlanta, GA. We have been in business since 2008. 2010 gross sales exceeded $1,900.000.
We continue to grow and are in need to expand our operational team and telemarketing staff. We specialize in the Truckload, Intermodal, Expedited and LTL market. We also have a niche in handling Class 1 Explosives and the procurement and handling of Flexitanks and offering turnkey service for bulk movement of materials into the International market.
Location:
We are currently in the process of moving ,but our office location will be the Southside or Downtown area.
Skills Required:
- Bilingual in Spanish is a must.
- MS Word, Excel, Skype, Microsoft Outlook, Internet and the ability to effectively communicate information in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS is a plus.
- Daily you will deal with our partners in the industry like NVOCC’s, TL, LTL, and Drayage carriers, Freight Forwarders, and those in the rail like CSX, NS, Hub Group and the Canadian National Rail Road.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment and multi-task.
- Must be able to laugh.
- Ability to communicate with key customers advising them of the status of their shipments and also looking for ways to increase our business with them.
- Data Entry of BOL instructions, shipping and receiving times, PO# , Hazardous Material or Ocean or MAWB information (Trucking, Drayage, LTL, Domestic Air Freight, International Air & Ocean, Domestic trucking)
- Tracking and tracing of truckload, LTL , rail and International shipments
- Set up and coordinate the pickup and delivery of shipments and following up to make sure the move is on task and will be completed in a timely manner maintain 100% on-time service.
- You will work directly with our motor carrier base and negotiate rates and set expectations of service levels. You will also work with Web based transportation systems to secure trucks and cover loads.
- Telemarketing. ---You will be given a list of customers to call to solicit LTL, TL, and rail, expedite or International business from in addition to leads you develop on your own. If you are able to secure new business you will be rewarded with a commission payout. Example---ABC Warehouse----Truckload shipment from Jacksonville to Dallas, TX. Our purchased transportation rate (buy rate) is $850. Our sell rate is $1000. Understand I have over head costs but potential bonus payout for this shipment $25-35 dollars. It is not very hard to secure 10 shipments in a week and the potential to increase your income bracket is very real.
