Is there an option to enroll in the complete seven course program as well as individual courses?

How do I learn about what courses are available to enroll now?

Where are CFP courses offered?

The courses will be held at the at the UNF University Center (Building 43) located at 12000 Alumni Drive
on the UNF campus. For directions please visit the UNF Campus Map. For classroom and other information, call (904) 620-4200.
What is the price for the CFP courses?

Each CFP© course fee is $849 and includes textbooks. The Capstone course fee is $849 and includes study materials. A special "package" price is available when registering for all seven courses. Discounts are available to UNF Alumni and members of the Financial Planning Association. Group rates are also available. Please call (904) 620-4200 for additional information.
What is the cost of the textbooks? Are there any other supplies to purchase?

The cost of textbooks are included in the course registration fee. Our combines of textbooks and Ken Zahn Inc. supplemental materials. Both the textbooks and the supplemental materials will be a part of the class curriculum. There is no textbook for the Capstone course, however a set of review questions will be provided to you.

Students will need to purchase a calculator for the first class session. Our recommended calculators for the program are either the HP10BII, HP12C, HP17BII. Click here for examples.
How do I receive my textbook?

After you have registered and paid for a course, your textbook will be delivered to you so you are prepared for the first day of class. Advance review is required.
Are online courses available?

Currently all courses are instructed in our classrooms and not available online.
Are the courses eligible for UNF credit (degrees)?

All courses are offered as non-credit and not transferable to UNF credit degree/certificate programs.
What if I miss a class session?

Students must attend ALL class sessions in order to receive a grade for the course. Make up lessons may be available on a case-by-case basis. There is a $25 fee for each lesson.
What courses do I need to complete to be eligible to take the CFP® Certification Exam?

You must complete all six courses (excluding the Capstone) to be eligible to take the CFP® Certification Exam. To earn the UNF Certificate in Financial Planning you must successfully complete all seven courses including Capstone.
What is the Capstone course?

This seventh course is designed to provide a review of the previous six courses in the UNF Certificate and additionally prepare students to the CFP Certification Exam.
