History of MOTH
In 1999, then
President E.K. Fretwell established a fund for developing a community around
film, because film for him was at the center of what he loved about his own
university experience. Since that
time Movies On The House has screened scores of films free for all of the UNF
Community; films that might help contribute to the important cultural
discussions of our time. With the success of the series at the Regal Cinema on Beach Blvd, where we would
regularly see over a hundred UNF folks come out from campus for the films, we
are proud to announce that Movies on the House will now be housed the Andrew A. Robinson, Jr. Theater. We are grateful to President Delaney
for supporting this move, and for making our campus not only a place to take
classes, but a place to live.
