Teaching Online @ UNF
Faculty rely increasingly on the online environment, from supplementing traditional courses to delivering courses fully online. CIRT staff are available to consult with faculty on a variety of issues pertaining to distance learning, including course design, syllabus construction, creation of instructional media, online assessment, conversion of traditional courses to the online environment, useful tools, and Blackboard.
Teaching Online Training & Faculty Development
In addition to the existing training events scheduled throughout the semester, CIRT also offers several courses designed to educate faculty on the most effective practices in designing, developing, and distributing online course content. Topics covered in these courses range from Blackboard basics to the different modalities used in the development of a fully online, fully functioning course.
