Research & Travel Grants

Through the Honors & Scholars Program, undergraduates may also apply for competitive grants to support university sponsored study abroad, summer academic programs abroad, as well as travel to professional conferences and internships.

Post-Baccalaureate Funding

Perhaps you have heard of the Rhodes Scholarships. Some of the world’s most powerful leaders (e.g., former President Bill Clinton, U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Suter) as well as some of our most talented citizens (e.g., song writer and actor Kris Kristofferson) have been Rhodes Scholars.  The Honors & Scholars Program can help you by mentoring, advising, coaching and editing your application for the Rhodes Scholarship as well as more than a dozen other esteemed scholarships including:

  • Fulbright, Gates, Marshall and Rotary Ambassadorial Cultural scholarships for study abroad
  • Harry S. Truman Scholarship for public service
  • Goldwater and Ford Foundation scholarships for math and science
  • Jacob K. Javits Fellowship for students seeking a Masters in Fine Arts
  • Morris K. Udall Scholarship for environmental education

These grants, scholarships, and fellowships are highly competitive, and they provide a means to distinguish yourself from other undergraduates. For more information, please contact Dr. Leslie Kaplan.
