Dealing with Disruptive Behavior in the Educational Environment

Disruptive behavior can range from something as innocent as "whistling while you work," or as serious as coming to work or class intoxicated. The purpose of this seminar is to discuss different types of disruptive behavior in the educational environment, and learn ways to handle them.
Learning objectives: 

  • Define disruptive behavior - what it is, what it's not
  • Discuss why people act disruptively
  • Address how to manage disruptive behavior
