 People are living longer today than ever before, but are they living healthier? Living a healthy lifestyle is your first line of defense against diseases and can determine to a great extent how long you live. This seminar explores seven basic areas for a healthy lifestyle. Today we will look at diet and nutrition, physical activity, smoking, alcohol, mental/spiritual, sleep, and preventive measures.

Learning Objectives: Understand diet and nutrition, physical activity, smoking, alcohol, mental/social/spiritual health, sleep and preventative measures and how these variables contribute to a healthier lifestyle.
Audience: A&P, Faculty, USPS, OPS, Student OPS
