Few people are prepared for the responsibilities and tasks involved in caring for the aged. Many people do not have a choice in the matter. The primary necessity of being a good caregiver is learning to take care of oneself. This course outlines strategies for caring for the caregiver. 

Learning Objectives: Understand the grieving process, understand the types of caregiver stress, review and prepare checklist for the care-receiver and the caregiver, learn tips and coping strategies for the caregiver, appreciate the caregiver’s bill of rights.
Audience: A&P, Faculty, USPS, OPS, Student OPS
