For the intermediate level of the Access 2010 course, participants will learn how to: produce a report, normalize data, manage table relationships, and enforce referential integrity. Participants will also learn how to work with the Subdatasheet feature and Lookup fields, create joint queries, calculated fields, and summary values.

This course is designed for all those who work with many file types and applications (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and want to present and archive information in a polished format using Adobe Acrobat.
In this class you will compare capabilities of Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat, compile a list of Acrobat tools most useful to your job, create PDF files from other file types, review settings for Acrobat Distiller, combine multiple files into a single document, and set securities on PDF documents. |

Adobe Acrobat Forms Level 3 Advanced - 3 Hours |

This course is designed for all those who collect information from stakeholders on paper and want to consider collecting this information electronically using forms created with Adobe Acrobat.
In this class you will design an electronic form from scratch, create a form from a template, and convert a static PDF form to a fillable form. You'll practice exporting information from a filled form into a spreadsheet or other file type to use in other systems. |

Creating and Managing Online Surveys Level 1 Beginning - 3 Hours |

This class introduces the basic functions of University's online survey application, Qualtrics. Participants learn how to create, edit, format, publish, and share surveys. Creation of several question types is covered, including matrix and conditional branching questions. Participants learn how to export survey data and display reports. This course is prerequisite to Creating and Managing Online Surveys, Level 2. |

Creating and Managing Online Surveys Level 2 Intermediate - 2 Hours |

This class covers the advanced functions of the University's online survey application, Qualtrics. Participants learn how to use the library feature to save surveys and questions for reuse and about survey distribution methods, including customized email links, panels, and inclusion in social media sites. These methods provide more efficient communication to the survey participants. Participants learn how to modify the available reports and export survey results into PowerPoint and MS Word. Creating and Managing Online Surveys, Level is prerequisite to this class. |

For the intermediate level of the Excel 2010 course, participants will learn how to: create and format charts, manage large workbooks, use multiple worksheets/workbooks, use advanced formatting tools and options, and use outlining subtotals. Participants will also learn how to work with tables and how to use cell and range names.

For the advanced level of the Excel 2010 course, participants will learn how to: use advanced charting tools and options, use auditing features, protect worksheets/workbooks, and create PivotTables and PivotCharts. Participants will also learn how to enter logical, statistical, financial, and date functions.

IMPORTANT! This course serves as the pre-requisite for What's New in
Word and PowerPoint 2007, What's New in Outlook 2007, What's New in Access 2007,
and What's New in Excel 2007.
This course is designed for users
familiar with previous versions of Microsoft's Windows operating systems and
Microsoft Office. This course will introduce the user to the new Ribbon
interface found in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook 2007,
as well as the new features offered in Windows Vista. This course will help
participants improve workflow efficiency and business productivity. The new
Vista features include: new functions to search for folders and files; new
organizational and productivity tools and applications; and new security against
online threats and unauthorized access. |
