I. OBJECTIVE & PURPOSE
To establish a policy for awarding pass/fail grades in specific courses.
II. STATEMENT OF POLICY
Per a Faculty Association decision (4/1/95), respective departments may, at their discretion, use pass/fail grading for thesis courses, dissertations, individual study, practicums, internships and /or cooperative education programs. Individual departments should develop policies and procedures related to awarding pass/fail grades and note in the catalog the courses where the opportunity exists for pass/fail.
