Registered Guest Parking
Obtaining Registered Guest Permits
Registered Guest permits are made available only to those pre-authorized by a University department. These permits can be requested by submitting the online form via Parking Registered Guest Permit Request. Ten or less permits may be requested through this online request with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Do not submit separate online requests if you need more than 10 permits. While placing the order, choose an option to pay; in person at Parking Services Building 52 or by submitting the Banner Index number. Payment in person will cost $3 per pass. Payment through the Banner Index number will be $2 per pass.
For more than 10 permit requests per day, send an e-mail to f.rivera@unf.edu. Please make sure that the email includes the name of the event, date, event time, event location, quantity of passes needed and the Banner Index number.
Where the Registered Guest can Park
A Registered Guest permit allows for parking in the “Registered Guest/Vendor” section of Lots 2, 7, 9, and 4 in front of the Student Union, and on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of the garages. It does not allow parking in orange-lined “Designated” spaces, the first floor of the garages, spaces marked “Reserved” or "Restricted," or in Housing Lots 10, 11, 12, 15, 16 and 17.
Displaying the Registered Guest Permit
The Registered Guest permit must be displayed on the vehicle’s dash or hanging from the rear view mirror, so that the permit number is visible and facing outward while the vehicle is parked on campus.
Strict Enforcement of Spaces in Lot 2, 3 or 7
It is imperative that departments register their guests using the online form and that a valid permit is appropriately displayed in order for guests to legitimately park in the "Registered Guest/Vendor” sections of the above mentioned lots.
The $3 Daily Permit purchased at either Parking Information booths is not the same as a registered guest pass. It excludes Registered Guest parking in Lots 2,3 and 7.
