Welcome to campus Ospreys! Parking Permits are a must have when you park your vehicle here.
Immediately upon registering for classes, buy your permit as soon as permits go on sale! Permit sale dates can be viewed through Osprey Update for Students, and on this web page. Permits are sold on a "first come, first served" basis, because some of the more desirable permits, such as Blue Lot permits, have set sales limits and will sell out. The Gray Lot permit category never sells out.
Please be aware that more permits are sold than the number of parking spaces since students do not come to campus every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fortunately, varying class schedules allow more spaces to be available, but some of the spaces may not be at your favorite lot or garage.
In order to purchase a permit, you must be registered for Spring classes and ALL permits are sold online through your "myWings" portal.

As of Tuesday, December 5, Blue Lot permits are SOLD OUT. Night Blue, Gray Lot and Motorcycle permits are still available for purchase.

Enforcement activity is Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. No permit is required from 5 p.m. Friday through 7 a.m. Monday unless there is a special event on campus. To verify special events, Master Calendar.
If visiting the University Center for a special event or class, no permit is required to park in Lot 16 (located in front of the center).
During the online purchase process, the permit fee will appear on your myWings Student Account, 24 hours after the purchase is completed. Charges on your myWings Student Account can be paid with credit card or authorized financial aid online via myWings, or cash/check in person at Student Financial Services, Building 53. In order to pay for your permit using your excess financial aid you will need to complete a "Financial Aid Authorization Form". This form is located on your myWings in the Student Tab under the heading "My UNF Bill". Read the statement and select the Authorization button to complete the form. An annual permit year includes August 16 till August 15 of the following year. For example, the 2016-2017 permit year began on August 16, 2016 and will expire August 15, 2017. Unlike a Term permit, which may last from five to six months. For example, the 2017 Spring Term permits started selling December 5, 2016 and expired May 15, 2017.
Parking with an expired permit will result in a citation.
One of the benefits to the virtual permit system, allows you to register up to 5 vehicles to the purchased permit. This makes it easier for you if you need to borrow or rent another vehicle if your primary vehicle is in the shop for repairs. Note: you may have 5 vehicles registered to the permit, but only 1 may be parked on campus at a time.
If you plan on driving either a vehicle and/or a motorcycle, it is suggested to purchase a primary vehicle permit and then register your motorcycle to the permit. You will not need to purchase two separate permits, but you will still need to follow the policy of only 1 registered vehicle may be parked on campus at a time.
After you have registered the maximum of 5 vehicles, the system will no longer allow you to add more, please contact Parking services (904) 620-2815 or email email@example.com to remove vehicles and update your parking account.
To verify: Log in to your myWings account and click on Parking Account. Click on the drop down of Permits (located at the top left of the screen next to Parking Portal). Select View your Permits, then click on the number listed under "Permit Number". The next screen, under "Associated Vehicles" will reflect the permit and which vehicles are registered to it.
To add: follow the same process listed above and then click on Add Vehicles To Permit (at the bottom of the screen). Then click on Add a new vehicle. Fill out the required fields and then click on Next >> (at the bottom of the screen). The following prompts will allow you to finish the action of adding the vehicle.
Once you are in your online parking account of your myWings portal, click on "VEHICLES" at the top center of the page. Select the license plate of the vehicle you wish to delete and once information is confirmed, select "DELETE".
If you receive an error message and are unable to delete, it is because the Relationship Type (located next to Plate Number) reflects as "OWNER", or the vehicle has an "ACTIVE" permit, or there is an unpaid citation linked to the license plate.

Thanks to the virtual permit program, you may now register up to 5 vehicles to your purchased permit through your parking account via myWings portal. However, you may only have one vehicle parked on campus at a time.
Yes; a daily virtual permit can be purchased for the two-wheeled motorized vehicle. All daily virtual permits are sold from our Pay-by-Plate kiosk, please click on the map of kiosk locations. You may park in any designated motorcycle spaces on campus.
Note: You will need to park your motorized vehicle "nose-in" so that the license plate can be easily read by our tag recognition cameras.
If you have a visitor coming to campus, inform them to purchase a $5 or $2 Daily Virtual Permit from one of our Pay-by-Plate kiosks. Please let them know ahead of time to have their license plate information on hand because they will need to enter it into the kiosk and they will also need to park their vehicle "nose-in" so their license plate is visible to our tag recognition cameras. $5 Daily Virtual permits allow parking within both Blue and Gray Lots and $2 Daily Virtual permits allow parking in Gray Lots only. No visitor permit is required on weekends, unless there is a special event occurring; which can be verified on Master Calendar.
Do not park on the grass or in a space that is specially marked outside of the allowable spaces from the permit you have purchased. Please review information listed on permit types and parking spaces allowed, listed above on this page: What parking locations allowed with specific parking permits?
Each ramp parking space has a visual white line at the back end and vehicles or items attached to vehicles cannot extend over this line when parked in these spaces. Citations will be issued to vehicles not parked within the identifiable space boundaries.
You may pay your citation, through an online link Pay Citations, or you may pay in person at Building 52 (Parking & Transportation Services). Another option includes filing an appeal within 14 calendar days of citation being issued. To file an appeal, you will need to fill out the appeal form and it will be reviewed by an appeal committee. Appeal forms are available online through link Ticket Appeals.
***14 calendar day example: If you get a ticket on a Tuesday, 14 calendar days is the second Monday, not the second Tuesday. Don’t get caught being a day late with your payment.***
