Has served on the UNF Alumni Association board for more than 25 years in various positions including former president; board member and former chair of the UNF Student Affairs Community Council, board member of the Coggin College of Business Alumni Chapter; board member and current chair of The Arc Jacksonville; instrumental in the establishment of the On Campus Transition (OCT) program on UNF’s campus; current member and former president of the Kiwanis Club of Jacksonville Beaches; current member of the United Way of Northeast Florida Resource Management Cabinet and vice chair of the health team; past member of Leadership Jacksonville; and current member on the Missions Committee at Switzerland Community Church

Jacksonville native married to husband Jay who she met while both were attending UNF
