Pierre N. Allaire

Occupation:

    Vice president for Institutional Advancement and executive director of the UNF Foundation at UNF since 1995; previously was associate vice president for development at Clemson University and executive director of the Clemson University Foundation;  nine years at the University of Florida Foundation as assistant vice president for development and campaign director ($392 million); began career teaching biology at Lees College, Jackson, Ky.

Education:

    B.S. from St. Edward’s University, Austin, Texas; M.S. from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas; Ph.D. in biology from the University of Louisville, Kentucky.

Activities:

    Trustee of the Chamber of Commerce Cornerstone Initiative; Jacksonville Rotary Club (Chair, International Service Committee); Museum of Contemporary Art of Jacksonville board;  past board member of the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens.

Personal:

    Married to Lorraine and enjoys cycling.
