Education:

 B.A. in sociology from Wellesley College and a Ph.D. in sociology of education from the University of Chicago     

Activities:

 Interim vice chair of the UNF Foundation investment committee; member of Community Foundation of Jacksonville; director of The Remmer Family Foundation, Inc.; advisory faculty emeritus, The Institute for Private Investors; advisory board member, National Center for Crime and Delinquency.

 With husband John has two sons, Michael and Alex. Hobbies include skiing, yoga and traveling
