 Communications consultant and retired president of Gannett Television; 37-year career in broadcasting began with CBS in New York and included the Children’s Television Network and WUSA-TV in Washington, D.C.  

Education:

 Studied business administration at City College, N.Y. 

Activities:

 Serves on the board of Rayonier and has servedon the boards of Alltel Corp., Winn Dixie and Bank of America; active on the boards of Freedom Forum Newseum Inc., the Alliance for the Guardian of Dreams and the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra; appointed in 2007 to serve on the JEA Board   

Personal:

  Born in Jacksonville and raised in New Haven, Conn.;  he and wife Maureen reside in Jacksonville and have five children and nine grandchildren
