Shyam B. Paryani

Occupation:

 Director of the Florida Radiation Oncology Group; board certified in radiation oncology; inducted as a fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology in 2000; is an assistant professor of oncology at Mayo Clinic, and also involved in the Baptist Health Foundation.   

Education:

 B.S. in electrical engineering and M.S. in nuclear engineering/radiation physics from the University of Florida; Doctor of Medicine from University of Florida;  received a Master of Health Administration from UNF in 2002.   

Activities:

 American Cancer Society; former President of Duval unit.   

Personal:

 Married to Dr. Sharon Goldman Paryani, who is a pediatric infectious disease specialist. They have three children.
