Description:

This daisy ranges through much of the United States. It is uncommon in Florida, native to a few counties in the panhandle region. It produces a tall spike of yellow daisies to nearly ten feet tall. Flowers are produced in mid- to late summer. Gardeners like this plant because rabbits do not eat it.

Size:

Herbaceous perennial low basal foliage that reaches about two tall with a flower spike that can rise to ten feet tall.

Water: grows best in moist soils


Soil: adaptable to soils, no special requirements
