New Project Management Framework!

The UNF Project Management Office (PMO) is excited to announce the new Project Management Framework and new project proposal submission form, which goes live on June 19th, 2017!

 

Highlights:

 

  • New Project Proposal Form
    • Can be shared for review and revised before submitting
     
  • New and improved Proposal review process
  • Standard framework for successful project delivery

 

Key Dates:

 

  • June 7-12 Project Proposal Training for Requestors (see below)
  • June 9-19 Blackout period for submitting Project Proposals
    • Current proposals will be converted to the new form
     
  • June 19 New Project Proposal form online

 

 

Call to Action:

 

In preparation for the new process, we will offer training for the campus on how to successfully develop and submit Project Proposals. You can register for an upcoming session using the CPDT Class Register (Training) link under the Quick Links in myWings.

 

This training is required if you want to be able to submit project proposals.

Welcome to the UNF Project Management Office the university's main resource for project management support.

 

The Project Management Office is responsible for leading large and organizationally complex implementations.

 

The PMO and its staff are also responsible for supporting the university's strategic IT portfolio planning process which is overseen by the Information Technology Governance Council (ITGC).

 

The ITGC is made up the vice presidents from each of the divisions across the university and currently meets monthly to review IT project requests submitted throughout the university.
