Q: I noticed there was a Blackboard Learn app available for download that is separate from the one in the UNF Mobile app. How do the two compare and which one should I use to access Blackboard? The Blackboard Mobile app has a few more features than the Blackboard app that is part of the UNF Mobile app. For example, the Blackboard Mobile app is optimized for small screens and does not have mobile exams. If using an aped, the Blackboard Mobile app is preferred.
Q: Sometimes, part of the app covers a button that I want to click on. What can I do? If part of the app or the keyboard covers something you want to click on - just tap the screen and the part covering the button will go away.
Q: Are there any difference between the Android App and the iOS app? Yes, if you use an Android device, it is recommended you review this page.
Q: How does the Blackboard Learn App work? Once you are logged in, you will see three buttons at the bottom of the screen. These are "Courses", Organizations", and "Favorites". To view your classes, click the "Courses" button and then select the class you want to view. Once in the class, you will see the menu items available for that course. Simply click the menu item you wish to view.

Q: Can I take tests or quizzes using the Blackboard Learn app? Yes, it it technically possible (but it may not be the best experience due to the device's smaller screen size and/or the network connection you are using - check with your instructor). To take a quiz or test, click on an assessment and your web browser will open and you will be able to take the test or quiz.
Q: Is is possible to add an event to my calendar? Yes. Just click the event to open it and scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Add to Calendar". The calendar item will display and allow you to edit and save it.
Q: Is it possible to view everyone in the directory? No, there is currently no means to display everyone in the directory, but you can search for someone and there is a rolodex-like navigation bar on the right hand side.
Q: Is it possible to search for a department's number in the directory? Yes, you can search for a department's name, but use the full name, not an abbreviation.
