Before initiating cell phone service, faculty and staff should consider whether they would like to synchronize their cell phone with UNF email servers. If so, they should contact the ITS Help Desk who can help the employee determine the appropriate device that will work with UNF systems. UNF supports smartphones that use Microsoft ActiveSync to synchronize information between the smartphone and UNF's e-mail servers.

The iPhone is one of many mobile devices used by students, faculty, and staff. Below are some instructions that will assist you with using your iPhone with UNF systems.

 

Information for setting up an iPhone to synchronize with UNF e-mail systems
This will enable you to read and send UNF e-mail as well as sync your iPhone calendar with your UNF Outlook calendar.

 

Deleting your UNF e-mail, calendar and contacts account from your iPhone
You may need to delete your account and recreate if you are having problems synchronizing your e-mail, calendar, or contacts.
