Acknowledge Email for Graduation Applications
As part of the Commencement System, when a student completes a graduation application a confirmation email is sent to the student. This nightly process selects all students who have a commencement record who have not already received the email. An email is sent to the student to verify the following information:
- Term
- Diploma Name
- College
- First Major
- Second Major
- Degree
Email are sent each day regardless of term.

Graduation Application Error Report
This nightly process sends an email to a distribution list to report errors in the Commencement system. Any graduation applications for the current term that meet one of the following conditions will be reported:
- Application does not match the current record on the General Student form (SGASTDN)
- Application does not exist for a pending record on the Degree and Other Formal Awards form (SHADEGR)
- SHADEGR record does not exist for an application
- Application is for a degree and major the student has already been awarded
