Catalog and Schedule

Add Attributes to Courses

In order to facilitate fee assessment to accurately assess students based on course level, course attributes are added to all courses defined in catalog and schedule.

Catalog

This weekly (Friday) process selects all courses with an effective term that is greater than or equal to the input term with a status of Active or Pending whose subject code is not XCP where the attribute does not already exist.

Schedule

This weekly (Friday) process selects all courses with a term that is equal to the input term whose subject code in not XCP where the attribute does not already exist.

For both Catalog and Schedule, if the first number of the course number is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 9 then the Undergraduate (LUG) attribute is added to the course.  For all other courses the Graduate (LGR) attribute is added.  The process runs for both the current term and the next term.

If the process term is Summer, then the summer (SUMR) attribute is also added to the courses in the schedule.

If the campus code on the Schedule is a "DL" and the course does not have the FEEDS fee (LE15), then the online distance learning (LDL) attribute is added to the courses in the Schedule.  If the course is no longer a distance learning course, then the attribute is removed.
