Minors

The Department of Psychology offers 2 minors:  General Psychology and Behavioral Medicine.

Conditions for Minors 

1. Neither the General Psychology minor nor the Behavioral Medicine minor accepts Psychology majors. 
2. Students minoring in Psychology or Behavioral Medicine must complete Introduction to Psychology. 
3. No more than 50% of the courses required for the minor are transferable from other institutions. 
4. Students may apply no more than 3 semester hours of lower-level credit to fulfill the minor requirements . 
5. Students must achieve a grade of C or better for all courses in the minor including Introduction to Psychology.
