About Caribe
Caribe: revista de cultura y literatura is published biannually at the University of North Florida with the support of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Caribe publishes scholarly articles, essays, notes, interviews, and book reviews in Spanish and English about the Spanish-speaking countries in the Caribbean area: Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, as well as Central America. Caribe represents the cooperative effort of two academic institutions: the University of North Florida and Marquette University (Milwaukee, Wisconsin).
The first issue, Tomo 1, Número 1, was published in December 1998. This journal of Caribbean culture and literature (ISSN 1099-6451) continues to be published each Winter and Summer. Opinions expressed by authors whose work appears in this publication are not necessarily those of the editors or members of the editorial board.
