The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work Sixth Annual Undergraduate Student Symposium will be held on Saturday, April 11th, 2015, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Location: Founders Hall, Building 2, Second Floor, Room 2010. Please join us as our students showcase their research. Awards reception immediately following.

The department is pleased to announce that they are accepting applications for our 2015-2016 student scholarships.  

The Eddie L Collins Jr. Scholarship is to be awarded to UNF Sociology or Anthropology student that has shown exceptional promise in their studies, particularly in their Sociology/Anthropology courses, with a focus on using the skills gained in their major to improve our community.

The Jonathan T. and Harriet M. Howe Scholarship is for students majoring in sociology with a preference given to students seeking a degree after a period of absence of at least one year from college (additional preference is given to spouses of military personnel).
