The Coggin College of Business’ International Business Research Conference was begun in 2001 through the vision of Jeff Steagall (now Dean at Weber State University) and Alojzy Nowak (Vice Rector University of Warsaw). The conference went from a one day format focusing mostly on encouraging UNF faculty and students to share research on International Business to its current format that includes participants from over 50 countries around the globe. Now in its 13th year, the conference has proved to be an important opportunity for scholars around the world, exchange partners and Coggin faculty to exchange ideas on all areas of business, politics, study abroad and teaching of international business. In 2013 the conference will begin a new chapter as it will be jointly sponsored by Coggin’s new Center for Sustainable Business Practices.
