Coggin Ambassadors (CA's) are outgoing, connected and ambitious business students that serve as student representatives of the Coggin College of Business; they are role models to current and prospective Coggin students and are the face of the college to the business community. CA's play an integral role in the marketing and execution of programs and events including career fairs, networking events, career workshops and the STAR Program. They also represent the Coggin College of Business at various on and off-campus events.
The Career Management Center staff selects Coggin Ambassadors at the end of the fall and spring semesters. Students must submit an application, essay and an updated résumé in order to be considered for the program. Double Major: International Business, Economics | Minor: ChineseGraduation: Spring 2016
Kami is a senior double majoring in International Business and Economics and minoring in Chinese. She currently holds the role of International Projects Director for UNF’s Rotaract Club, and is an active member of the Swoop Squad. Kami has previously studied abroad in Greece and in China. She has formerly interned at the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville. In her spare time, Kami enjoys spending time with family and friends, running marathons, and painting.

Christine is a senior at The University of North Florida achieving a major in marketing. Along side her academic career, she is also the Vice President of the Women In Business Society (WBS) as well as being an active member in the Student Leader Advisory Board (SLAB). Christine also works at Vizergy as an Account Coordinator. In her free time she likes to spend time with family, read a good book, and relax by the beach. Upon graduating, she aspires to work for a "Go Green" company and move to New Zealand to follow her career while achieving her MBA.

Brian is a senior double majoring in Finance and Financial Services. He is currently an active member of the Finance and Investment Society and the Filipino Student Association. Outside of UNF, Brian is involved with the community service efforts of ImpactJAX and the Jacksonville Jaycee’s. He is currently interning at UBS Financial Services. During his free time, Brian enjoys visiting new restaurants with his significant other and spending quality time with friends and family. Upon graduating in the Summer of 2016, he expects to sit for the Series 7 & 66 exams and complete the coursework requirement for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam.

Medina is a senior majoring in Marketing and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2016. She is the first person in her family to attend college. Medina is currently a Marketing Intern for England-Thims & Miller, Inc. and an active member of the Women in Business Society. In her spare time, she likes to play tennis with her boyfriend. Upon graduation, Medina plans to attend graduate school to obtain her Master's Degree.
Major: Transportation & Logistics Graduation: Spring 2016
Danijel is a senior majoring
in Transportation and Logistics with an expected graduation date of Spring
2016. He is originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina and moved to the United
States with him parents and older sister. He and his sister are the first
individuals in his family to attend college. Danijel is currently a member of
the Transportation and Logistics society. He is proud to be a recipient of the
Thomas B. Crowley Sr. Memorial Scholarship, UNF Test Prep Scholarship and UNF
SWOOP scholarship. He is currently a Transportation Intern at Coach. In his
free time, Danijel loves to travel, play sports, and hang out with his
girlfriend and family. Upon graduating in May 2016, he wants to pursue a career
in the logistics field.

Yanis is a senior currently majoring in
Accounting. She has previously served on the executive boards of Alpha Sigma Pi
Accounting Club and the National Association of Black Accountants club. Yanis
has also participated in the Coggin Mentor Program (Fall 2014) and is a
returning Coggin Ambassador. In the fall of 2015, Yanis participated in a
Coggin Semester Abroad Program and spent three months traveling throughout
Europe with her good friend. Upon graduation in the spring of 2016, Yanis plans
to sit for the CPA exam and return to UNF in the fall for her graduate degree.
In her spare time Yanis enjoys cooking, traveling, rock climbing and spending
time with her family, fiancé and cat.

Jake is a senior majoring in
International Business, with minors in Spanish and Leadership. He is excited to proudly represent UNF as a
Coggin Ambassador, and he is also a member of the 2015-2016 cohort of the
Coggin Mentor Program. Jake recently
completed an International Business internship within the International Patient
Services Department at Mayo Clinic Florida. Additionally, Jake has volunteered and worked
closely with Arc Jacksonville, a social services provider to adults with
developmental and intellectual disabilities. Jake enjoys spending time with his family and
friends, surfing, photography, art, watching movies, the ocean, and traveling. Jake's future includes moving to California to
pursue a career with an internationally-focused company and pursuing a Master's
degree in either Business Administration or Health Administration.
ZACHARY J. RENNA
Major: Finance | Minor: Economics Graduation: Fall 2016
Zack is a Senior majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics. He is a member of the Osprey Volunteer Club, Economics Society, and the Finance and Investment Society. He is originally from Cherry Hill, NJ where he spent his first two years of college playing D1 baseball at NJIT. In his free time, he likes traveling, fishing, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. Upon graduating in December 2016, Zack plans on obtaining his MBA and working in the finance industry.

Becky is double majoring in International business and Management. She is a current Junior expected to graduate Spring of 2017. Becky is currently an executive board member of the Women in Business society, the Coggin Mentorship program and the Coggin Study Abroad Program. She has had three years of managerial experience as a General Manager for a small business. After graduation, Becky plans to continue her education and obtain her Masters degree with UNF. After finishing school she aspires to work outside of the United States. When Becky is not at school she enjoys spending time with family and traveling.

Vuochleang Lim is a senior
majoring in Finance with an expected graduation date of fall 2016. She is the
first person in her family to attend college. Alongside her academic career,
she also serves as the Philanthropy Chair for the Women in Business Society
(WBS), is a member of the 2015-2016 Coggin
Mentorship program, and has participated in Coggin’s Study Abroad Programs.
In her free time she likes to spend time with family and friends, and enjoys
playing tennis and soccer.

Jourdan Thaxton is a senior
majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Jourdan
is also employed with the University of North Florida and spends much of his
time on the UNF campus. When not studying or completing a work related project,
Jourdan enjoys volunteering with the Jacksonville Humane Society and promoting
the message of animal wellness and humane treatment. Outside of his collegiate
career, Jourdan is a budding singer-songwriter, dancer, author, and newly found
actor. Jourdan has performed at venues such as the Jacksonville Jazz Festival,
the Ritz Theater, Florida Times Union Theater, and most recently the annual
Friday Night Music Festival held at the Jacksonville Landing. Managing a
challenging and perplexing schedule has become second nature to the local
“Prince of Pop Music”. Jourdan is looking forward to tackling his first movie
role in the Spring of 2016, releasing his debut album Summer 2016 and graduating
Fall 2016. After the completion of his undergraduate degree, Jourdan plans on
continuing his career path with UNF as well as furthering his musical

Emily is a senior with a double major in International
Business and Transportation and Logistics. She is expected to graduate in Fall
2016. Currently she is active in the Transportation Logistics Society and a
part of the Coggin Ambassador Cohort. In Summer 2016 she plans on going to the
Coggin in Argentina study abroad trip. In her free time Emily likes to spend
time with her friends and family, go to the beach, and experience new things
and places. Upon graduation she hopes to travel often and find a position that
is right for her.

Frank is a junior double majoring in Accounting and Finance
and expects to graduate in the summer of 2017. He currently is the president of Alpha Sigma
Pi and aspires to continue to look for opportunities to make an impact at UNF. Outside of UNF, Frank is an active youth
leader at Celebration Church who loves seeing young students and people commit
their lives to something greater. In his
free time, he enjoys playing a variety of sports and treasures the time he
spends with family and friends. After
graduation, Frank intends to pursue a Master’s degree.

Joseph is an international student from the Philippines who
graduated high school in Malaysia. He is currently pursuing two business
degrees in management and finance. He enjoys being involved in sports, mainly
soccer and basketball. Joseph also likes
to draw, practice graphic design and learn new things in the world of business.
He always looks to grow and one day hopes
to become successful, emotionally and financially. Joseph’s goal in life is to be happy and
