Freshmen and sophomores are advised by the Academic Center for Excellence. However, all students intending to major in engineering are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor and/or faculty in the School of Engineering to discuss the engineering programs, engineering careers, or their academic progress.
Academic advising for juniors and seniors is provided through the School of Engineering. There are full-time academic advisors available to meet with all engineering students. All engineering students are encouraged to meet with the academic advisor or faculty advisor before registering for courses. Students who know what courses to take are not required to meet with an advisor.
Walk-ins are welcome only during posted walk-in hours. All other advising appointments must be made online by following the steps below:

Transfer students must complete at least 8 credit hours of the courses listed below before applying to the School of Engineering. Note that a minimum grade of C+ is required in all pre-Engineering courses.

Transient students are those currently enrolled at UNF who register for courses at another Florida public college/university
on a temporary basis. UNF students may attend other schools as a transient
student, but with strict limitations and
