Faculty Sabbatical and Leave Program - 2013-14
Full-time tenured faculty members who will have completed at least six (6) years of continuous full-time service with the University by the end of the 2012-13 academic year are eligible to apply.

Faculty Scholarship Release Program
The Division of Academic Affairs provides faculty members with course releases to further the faculty members´ research, scholarship, and/or creative activity. These releases are intended to recognize future promise.

Foundation Board Proposals (Fall 2012)
2012-2013 UNF Foundation Board Initiatives
This year the University of North Florida Foundation will be able to award $45,000 and will select a maximum of three proposals for funding. At least one of the proposals selected for funding will support research work. The UNF Foundation Board welcomes proposals from all UNF teaching faculty (tenured or tenure-earning faculty or instructors). The proposals should meet the following criteria:
Criteria
Successful proposals will describe research or special projects that will accomplish one or more of the following goals:
• Meet the social, economic or educational needs of North Florida
• Align with the strategic priorities of the faculty member’s department, college and the University
• Engage UNF students in active learning/research initiatives
• Partner or collaborate with other organizations with a similar focus or doing similar work in the community
• Demonstrate efficiency and return on investment as well as innovation and creativity (use funds wisely and maximize the impact of the investment)
