Retirement benefits
The Office of Human Resources serves as a liaison with the state of Florida's Division of Retirement and employees regarding retirement information. The Office of Human Resources can assist employees with enrolling in retirement plans, counseling on retirement benefits and assistance throughout the retirement process.

Education benefits
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a 24-hour, confidential help line for employees and their families who may need assistance with life, family or financial challenges.

The leave donation policy at UNF is designed to assist employees who are experiencing medical conditions resulting in a leave without pay status.
The University’s sick leave pool is a voluntary program to provide employees with sick leave credits after all their leave is exhausted.
