COEHS offers over 40 donor-funded scholarships and fellowships to our students. Many are renewable, as long as the student continues to meet the required criteria.
Only continuing and incoming College of Education and Human Services students are eligible for COEHS donor-funded scholarships.
It’s possible. However, past Selection Committees have typically chosen to maximize the number of deserving students receiving scholarship/fellowship support vs. giving multiple awards to individual students.
Yes, all students must submit new applications each year.
After the application period has closed, a Selection Committee will review completed applications and make final selections. In late spring or early summer, applicants will be notified by e-mail whether they have or have not been selected for the following school year.
All awards are subject to availability.
The funds will be applied to the recipient's UNF account at the beginning of each semester. If this is not the case, the recipient will be notified of alternative arrangements.
Yes, however,each award varies in the maximum semesters allowed.You will get this information when you receive a scholarship/fellowship contract.
If at any time there is a change in the student's status so that the student no longer meets the specific scholarship/fellowship criteria, then the award may be revoked. This could include but is not limited to GPA requirements, full-time vs. part-time status, etc.
