The disbursement of the following programs will be reduced based on the number of hours a student enrolls.
The Federal Pell Grant follows a Federal formula for reduction. The Federal SEOG, Florida Student Assistant Grant, UNF Institutional Grant, UNF Need-Based Grant and the UNF Housing Grant will be pay 75% of the offered amount for 9-11 hours; 50% for 6-8 hours and 0% for less than 6 hours. The UNF Graduate Grant will be pay 50% of the offered amount for 6-8 hours and 0% for less than 6 hours. Tentative disbursement dates will be made available online at the beginning of each semester. Tuition, fees, housing expenses and other monies (excluding fines owed to other offices such as parking and library fines) owed to the University for the current aid year will be deducted from the first available aid, whether that is a grant, scholarship, loan or other outside resource. Students who wish to allow their Federal Title IV aid to pay for non-allowable charges (for example, meal plans, late fees, or library charges), must complete the Financial Aid Authorization. This online form can be found in the My UNF Bill channel on the student myWings account. If funds remain after institutional charges have been deducted, the remainder will be deposited to the student’s account on established disbursement dates.
