The event will emphasize the importance of today’s leaders identifying and developing their own “You~Nique” Signature Presence – an authentic and powerfully magnetic radiance that positively influences the behaviors of others.  This year’s Summit takes the form of an engaging and dynamic workshop led by accredited executive coach and author, James Scouller.   Scouller started The Scouller Partnership, a specialist executive coaching practice, in 2004 after eleven years as a CEO in USA and UK-owned multinationals and nearly 30 years in industry. He coaches both experienced and up-and-coming leaders (and executive teams) in multinationals and small private firms in Europe and the USA.

James ScoullerThe UNF Student Leadership Summit is a flagship program of the Taylor Leadership Institute, a department within the Division of Student and International Affairs. Funded through the Student Services Fee, this extraordinary event is free and open to all UNF students. Held each Fall, the Leadership Summit awakens you to the authentic purpose in your life. You'll hear from leaders of all sorts and learn so much about yourself while having lots of fun. The experience will empower you to develop meaningful interactions with community organizations and connect you with "real world" venues to practice leadership on and off campus. Pre-registration is required to attend.  For more information please contact Alison Noonan at or call (904) 620-5934.

Need an Excused Absence from Class to Attend the Summit?

Don't fret! First, see if you can negotiate the excused absense on your own. Simply download 2015 Summit Request for Excused Absence, fill it out and hand it to your professor(s) requesting an excused absence.

If needed, the Institute can provide your professor a confirmation that you attended the Summit, assuming of course you are there and confirmed as such on our attendance record at check-in.

If you have additional needs, we will do our best to advocate on your behalf.
