MVRC was established in 2009 to serve as the center point entry for veterans and their families as they navigate the civilian and academic worlds.

Staffed by veterans, the overall goal is to deliver tangible tools and services to optimize academic success leading to graduation and employment opportunity. This effort involved collaboration with the following offices:

  • One-Stop Student Services
  • Disability Resource Center
  • Counseling Center
  • Career Services

The UNF MVRC in conjunction with the UNF SBDC, and the UNF Coggin College of Business was selected as one of four Florida universities by Veterans Florida to participate in an innovative statewide entrepreneurship program for  veterans!  The program will offer veterans access to high value, entrepreneurship education. Each university will offer the same curriculum and dedicate existing small business development resources to the program!
