FSCJ Student Housing UPDATE

Based on the
increase in demand for on-campus accommodations for UNF students, the
Department of Housing and Residence Life does not anticipate the ability
to offer on-campus housing to FSCJ students (FTIC or Transfer) who
would be seeking accommodations at UNF for the first-time in Summer 2012
and/or Fall 2012/Spring 2013. This decision is in response to the
first-year housing requirement for in-coming UNF freshmen and the
increase in demand for upper-class housing by the existing population of
on-campus residents.
However, the Department of
Housing and Residence Life is excited to be able to continue to offer
housing to Florida State College at Jacksonville students who live
on-campus at UNF (as of Spring 2012) for the up-coming Summer 2012 and
Fall 2012/Spring 2013 semesters.
Current Spring 2012 residents of
UNF, who are enrolled at FSCJ, may continue to submit UNF Housing
Contracts for Summer 2012 and/or Fall 2012/Spring 2013 and will continue
to have the ability to select Optional Services, which allow them to
access some of the UNF facilities and/or services, for a varying fee.
FSCJ Housing Contract & Forms
Florida State College at Jacksonville students who want to live on UNF Campus during Spring 2012 must complete the following forms:

In order to offer UNF Housing for FSCJ Students, there
are some additional documents we need completed by the student,
including:

DOWNLOAD Financial Aid Authorization Form
For FSCJ Students that will be taking advantage of our Payment Plans will also need to complete:
DOWNLOAD Residential Alternative Payment Plan (Fall/Spring)
DOWNLOAD Residential Alternative Payment Plan (Summer)
DOWNLOAD Authorization Agreement for ACH Debits
FSCJ Optional Services
While UNF Students have the freedom to use any UNF facility or
service as a part of tuition paid to the university, FSCJ students must opt-in to select use of UNF facilities and/or services.
These services are offered for a small fee per semester, which may be selected on your Housing Contract:

Activities & Recreation Services

This optional fee will allow FSCJ students to access Student Union
facilities and Student Government-sponsored events and activities,
including tailgates, late night breakfasts, and Osprey Productions
programs.

Counseling Center Services

This optional fee will allow FSCJ students to access the UNF Counseling Center for one initial consultation. If the student requires additional counseling or mental health services, appropriate referrals will be made to outside agencies or private practitioners.

Student Health Services
|
$37.00 |
This optional fee will allow FSCJ students to access the UNF Student
Health Center for routine medical services. Usual and customary charges
for tests, x-rays or prescriptions will be the patient's responsibility.
Student Health Services does not bill student insurance companies.

Transportation
|
$47.00 |
This mandatory fee will allow FSCJ students to use the
Osprey Connector. The Osprey Connector will transport you from one end
of the campus to the other, or from parking lots to the campus core and
back. Each housing area has an Osprey Connector Shuttle Stop. Osprey
Connector Shuttle does not travel to any FSCJ location.
