Panhellenic at the University of North Florida consists of six National Panhellenic Conference sororities. Each sorority is unique in its own way; however, the Panhellenic community as a whole strive for excellence in every aspect of college student life. Through promoting academics, campus and community involvement, and sisterhood, Panhellenic has become the largest women's organization on campus.
WHAT IS PANHELLENIC?
The Panhellenic Council is the governing body for the 6 Panhellenic sororities on campus. The Council works with the campus, community, each sorority chapter, and Fraternity & Sorority Life Staff to serve our community. The officers lead meetings, execute Greek-wide events (i.e. Recruitment and Greek Week), and provide resources and support to all chapter members. The Panhellenic Council also works to bring speakers, programming, and resources to the sorority community promoting safety, self confidence, and inner beauty.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities. We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
