Division of Student Affairs

The Division of Student Affairs is the resource for co-curricular and extracurricular programs, activities, and services at the University of North Florida. It is our mission to provide students with the best, most rewarding learning opportunities outside the classroom. To that end we oversee more than twenty specialized departments, units, and facilities whose task is to optimize the university experience.

Mission Statement

To create a supportive, educational, social, and recreational environment outside the classroom through co-curricular programs and services that are engaging and lead to student retention.

Purpose Statement

To develop our students in a holistic manner to be productive citizens of character upon graduation.

Vision Statement

By 2015, create an egagin campus environment and be recognized as an integral collaborator with Academic Affairs.

Student Affairs has paved the way toward integrating the University’s core values into every facet of campus life by intentionally infusing them into strategic planning, programming, services and overarching philosophy.  The Division has also embraced a “culture of learning” by proactively cultivating beneficial partnerships with Academic Affairs complementing in-classroom learning with equally strong out-of-classroom learning.
