Welcome to the Environmental Center

Many of the challenges of the 21st century will be environmental as humankind tests the carrying capacity of our planet. These environmental issues and problems are by their very nature multidisciplinary, so UNF has adopted a cooperative and integrated approach to understanding our environment and managing resources wisely. The Environmental Center will respond to the pressing need for research relevant to environmental issues, help design thoughtful planning processes, encourage responsible stewardship, and help prepare the next generation of environmentally literate society leaders.

The Environmental Center is governed by an Executive Board representing all five UNF colleges: Brooks College of Health; Coggin College of Business; Arts & Sciences; Computing, Engineering & Construction and Education & Human Services.
