Step Five: Submitting the Thesis or Dissertation to the College

The student is required to submit a clean, corrected copy of his/her thesis or dissertation to the College Dean four weeks before graduation. This will allow appropriate time in which (1) the College Dean reads and comments on the thesis or dissertation and (2) the student makes the necessary corrections to the document.

The student will also need to provide the College Dean with the certificate of approval previously signed by the Thesis or Dissertation Committee members, the Thesis or Dissertation Chair, and the Department Chair.

Checklist

❏ A corrected copy of the thesis or dissertation with corrections required by the Department Chair was submitted to the College Dean.

❏ Original certificate of approval was submitted to the College Dean.
