A Research Week Event 


You are cordially invited to attend the 8th Annual Scholars Transforming Academic Research Symposium (STARS). STARS is a showcase of research excellence highlighting faculty, staff, and administrators across all disciplines within the university community. The theme for this year’s symposium is From Idea to Impact. This year’s STARS will feature Research NOW forums, a poster competition for junior faculty, and a faculty and staff reception and awards ceremony. Pre-registration is requested.

Welcome to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs  

The mission of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is to serve as the University's central administrative unit responsible for securing external resources through grants and contracts and providing financial and contractual stewardship of awards. ORSP provides dynamic and proactive services to cultivate and maximize external resources for relevant research, scholarly and creative pursuits. ORSP provides guidance and support to the university community in an environment that fosters the creative process and the enrichment of teaching and learning, while ensuring the fulfillment of the university's financial, contractual, and regulatory obligations as well as accountability to external funding sources.






Uniform Guidance-Implementation of "CFR 200" 


The University of North Florida has delayed implementation of the new Uniform Guidance Procurement Standards until July 1, 2017 as provided by the waiver of the procurement rules stated in COFAR FAQ, Section 110-6, released November 26, 2014.  In the interim, The University of North Florida's existing policies and procedures and OMB Circulars will continue to apply.
