Mayo Clinic-UNF Research Workshop

John Kantner, UNF Associate VP for Research and Tushar Patel, Dean for Research, Mayo Clinic invite UNF faculty to participate in a research workshop scheduled for Friday, October 21st, from 9am to 1pm, at UNF’s Adam W. Herbert University Center at 12000 Alumni Dr.

The goal of this free workshop is to allow faculty members to learn about the research efforts taking place at each institution and to identify and cultivate potential areas of collaboration, as well as to recognize existing partnerships between UNF and Mayo faculty members. The overall goals are to facilitate and enhance collaborations between UNF and Mayo. Participants need not be focused strictly on biomedical research, but may include researchers involved in other fields, such as data analytics, finance, management, and education, whose work has applicability to the health care industry.

Each presenter will be asked to provide a brief, 10-minute overview on their current research interests and, if appropriate, research needs that may be satisfied through future UNF-Mayo Clinic collaboration. The format is designed to be casual and interactive, and will culminate in a lunch during which participants can continue discussions on possible research partnerships

Faculty interested in participating are asked to please register by September 30th at:
