Kennedy Center Partners in Education

The University of North Florida Fine Arts Center, the Duval County Public Schools and the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville are active partners in The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., Partners in Education program.

The partnership is based on the statistical documentation that the arts enhance learning and result in higher academic achievement. The program provides innovative professional development opportunities for elementary and middle school educators to gain the skills and the confidence to integrate the arts into the curriculum.
