Government Documents

General Information and Responsibilities

The Government Documents Section houses federal, state, and local government documents as well as maps and atlases. Federal documents, published by the Government Printing Office (GPO) are distributed through the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). As a selective depository for federal publications we receive the items that best support the University’s needs. Federal documents are arranged using the Superintendent of Documents call number system and Florida and Jacksonville documents are arranged using a similar, agency-based system.
