Library Administration includes the staff of the Office of the Dean with responsibilities for overall strategic planning and program management of the Thomas G. Carpenter Library.
Administrative staff manage the Library’s fiscal resources, provide administrative oversight for the physical facility, and oversee the hiring, evaluation, and development of library faculty and staff. Dean’s office staff manage the annual assignment of graduate study carrels.
Operational management for primary library service areas is delegated to three directors, one each for Public Services, Technical Services, and Library Systems & Technology. The Director of Development is responsible for the Library’s fund-raising programs, including facilitation of the Dean’s Leadership Council.
