Florida Campus Compact’s STEM Service-Learning Fellows Program at The University of North Florida

In 2012, the University of North Florida partnered with Florida Campus Compact (FL/CC) and Learn and Serve America to support the integration of Service-Learning into courses that focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) disciplinary issues.  There was also an interest on courses with a focus on Environmental Sustainability and Community Health issues.  The STEM Service-Learning Fellows program supported faculty in the redesign and implementation of Service-Learning courses which aligned with the university’s goal of integrating Community-Based Transformational Learning (CBTL) throughout UNF’s curriculum.

Applications were accepted and processed on a rolling basis until filled in January 2012.
