College Placement Testing

General Information

The Office of Academic Testing administers the Florida Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT) and Accuplacer college placement tests (CPT).  Both the PERT and Accuplacer are assessments to determine the most appropriate mathematics, English, and/or reading courses for students entering college.

UNF students may need to take one or more of the following three PERT tests: Mathmatics, Reading, and/or Writing; or Accuplacer tests: Elementary Algebra, Sentence Skills, and/or Reading.  If you are unsure if you need to take a placement test or of which test to take, please consult your academic or admissions advisor.
