2013 Permits and Rates

Please note: not all permits are available to everyone. Reserved and Faculty/Staff are for faculty and staff only. Housing Permits are for residential students only.

Students: In order to purchase a Summer 2013 Term permit you must be registered for Summer classes. It may take up to 24 hours from the time that you have registered for classes until you can order a parking permit.  2012 - 2013 Annual permits and Summer 2013 Term permits expire August 15, 2013. Expiration dates are displayed on the permit stickers.

2013-14 Permit Sale Dates:

Students with 90+ credit hours, sale starts July 15, 2013

                         60+ credit hours, starts July 22, 2013

                         20+ credit hours, starts July 29, 2013

                         Sales are open to all students on August 5, 2013

Returning Housing students may purchase a permit on July 18, 2013.

New Housing students may purchase on July 25, 2013.

All parking permits are sold on-line by going through your “My Wings” account or through purchase permits. If you have purchased a permit online and want an additional permit, please visit Parking & Transportation Services, Building 52.

When ordering, make sure that the address you place on the order form is where you will be located in order to receive it. If you know within a week that you are moving to another location, enter the new address of where you will be able to receive the permit.

The delivery of the permit takes 7 to 14 business days, if you have not received the permit by that time, please contact Parking and Transportation Services, (904) 620-2815.

How should the affixed permit be displayed?

For an affixed style permit to be valid for parking at UNF, it must be displayed unaltered and it must be permanently affixed using the permit's adhesive properties to the exterior glass of the vehicle. It is recommended to adhere the sticker on the exterior of the driver's side rear window or on the driver's side rear bumper so that it is clearly visible to parking patrollers. For unusually constructed vehicles, please contact Parking and Transportation Services (904) 620-2815 for any exceptions to this permit placement. Please note the permit must be clearly visible when the vehicle is parked on campus. Parking with the rear bumper up against a wall in a garage such that a permit affixed to the rear bumper cannot be seen or having a tool box in a pick-up obscuring the view of a permit affixed to the rear window are examples of offenses that will result in parking citations.

Purchase of a permit does not guarantee the holder a space within the below stated description area but, as noted, the permit does allow for parking in other areas. 

Parking locations allowed with parking permits:

Vendors that display a Certified Vendor (CV) parking permit may park in Premium Permit spots plus Certified Vendor/Restricted spots in Lots 2, 7, 9 and the Student Union (Lot 4).
