March Book Club 2018

UNF Alumni Book Club March 2018

Wednesday, March 14, 2018

10:00-11:30 a.m.

Location: UNF Alumni Hall

The UNF Alumni Book Club meets the second Wednesday of each month from 10:00-11:30 am at UNF Alumni Hall, 4804 S. Kernan Boulevard. The parking at Alumni Hall is free; no pass is needed. Light snacks and juices are served.

The group is chaired by Joanne Liberty and open to UNF alumni, their guests and all who are interested in sharing a discussion of the monthly selections or topics.

March's chosen book is "Winter House." In this riveting thriller from New York Times bestselling author Carol O'Connell, New York City officer Kathleen Mallory purges a woman of her mysterious past — and the flesh-and-blood ghosts of a violent family legacy.

This highly recommended read is available at the Jacksonville Public Library and online in hard copy, electronic and audio formats.

Join your fellow Ospreys and Jacksonville neighbors for UNF Alumni Service Day and help make a difference in the communities we all call home.

This year we are offering two options for volunteer opportunities. Help construct materials and support the build-out for Sulzbacher Village — an upcoming project for a new community for women and families that will establish a separate neighborhood away from the downtown core.

Interested Service Day participants with children under 16 can also choose our family-friendly volunteer site with the St. Johns River Keeper cleanup.

Register by Thursday, April 5!
