Concurrent Enrollment
Concurrent Enrollment refers to currently registered UNF degree-seeking students who wish to earn credit at another regionally accredited postsecondary institution for transfer into a UNF degree program. Students must obtain approval from their UNF academic advisor prior to enrolling elsewhere. The advisor will enter the course information into the Concurrent Enrollment application. For the selected student, the major and college are displayed. The advisor enters the CEEB code for the institution, term, course ID, remedial indicator, credit hours for course, number of approved hours, and the term for which the concurrent enrollment is approved. Any courses that have been approved for concurrent enrollment are displayed at the bottom of the screen. The course ID, institution name, CEEB code, term, credit hours for course, offered indicator (is course offered at UNF for the term), grade, and remedial indicator are displayed.

Demographic Data
The application provides a view of certain key identifying elements recorded in the Banner database for the selected person. The first section includes birth date, citizenship, gender, privacy indicator, veteran status, and ethnicity. In addition, the mailing address, permanent address, email address, and emergency address and contact information is displayed.
If available, the individual’s photo also appears in the upper right corner of the page.

Enrollment History
This application allows the user to view the end of term status for each term that the student is enrolled. The list contains the term, student level, student type, program, college, major, concentration, catalog term, minor, multiple indicator, and end of term status. If the multiple indicator contains ‘*’ then there is one or more of program, major, and/or minor.
In addition, there is a list of all UNF degrees that have been awarded including the term.

Enrollment Services Appeal
Enrollment Services must process the Enrollment Services Appeals that are submitted by students. This application provides the user the ability to view the appeals and enter a decision. In addition, the user can email the student from the application and add comments.

General Student
This application allows the user to view each General Student (SGASTDN) record for the selected student. A list of General Student records is displayed including the From term, To term, level, and program code. The From term is a hyperlink to more detailed information. When the user selects the hyperlink the following information is displayed in the first section: Registered for Term indicator, First Term Attended, Last Term Attended, Status, Matriculation Term, Residence, Citizenship, Student Type, Class, and Expected Graduation Date. The second section the curriculum information including the following: Degree, Level, Program, Admit Term, Admit Type, Catalog Term, College, Campus, Major and Department, and Minor

GPA Calculator
The GPA Calculator system allows the user to do "What If scenarios" with a student's academic courses. It will recompute the student's GPA, temporarily, when the repeat and/or grade indicators are changed.
The selected student’s GPA level, attempted hours, earned hours, hours for average, quality points and GPA are displayed. The student’s courses are listed including the term, course ID, repeat indicator, grade, attempted hours, quality points, and level. The user can change the repeat indicator, grade, and/or level, then select the Calculate GPA button to see what affect the changes had on the GPA.

Health Information
This application displays legacy information from the Student System prior to the implementation of Banner. The following information is displayed regarding immunizations for the selected student: student’s address, phone, birth date, last maintenance date, notice, notice date, and immunization clear date. For each type of immunization, the immunization, date, acceptance, and any message are displayed. If exists, the international student insurance clearance date, valid through date, and statement of good health clearance date are also displayed.

Immunization Records
Applicants who matriculate at Florida public universities are required to provide proof of immunization against rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) prior to the initial registration. Immunization information may be indicated on an electronic transcript from another institution. If so, the immunization records are copied to a UNF table (see Electronic Transcript Immunization Maintenance) and can be viewed with this application. The school, type of immunization, date of immunization, status of immunization, and activity date are displayed for the selected student.

Informational Hold Audit
Due to some changes to various regulations or laws during the 2009 year, UNF developed a method using holds for informing the students regarding these new rules. If a student has acknowledged these holds, then a list of Informational Holds is displayed for the selected student. The hold description and activity date are displayed.

Petition Tracking
Students seeking variances from University academic policies and regulations may petition select policies. This application tracks the petition request and status. The paper petition must have all appropriate signatures then the user enters the advisor (where appropriate), type of petition, petition date, description, sent date, sent to, any notes, exception to university policy indicator, status date, status, and approver information regarding the petition for the selected student.
All petitions for the student are displayed at the bottom of the screen. The sequence number, petition date, description, status, status date, sent to, sent date, approver, and exception type are displayed. The sequence number is a hyperlink to the petition. The user can select the hyperlink to display the information about the petition.

Registration Holds
The user can view all holds for the selected student. The hold code, description, from date, to date, origin, release indicator, and user are displayed.

View Letter (GUAPARA)
As part of the Electronic Communications Initiative, it was necessary to provide a means for UNF Employees to view the Status Letters that student’s would be able to view in Student Self-Service. The UNF Employee can develop the letter without the student seeing it until it is complete. The UNF Employee is able to view the letter, as the student would see it, for accuracy and formatting. The letters are built in Banner using GTVPARA, GUAPARA, and GTVLETR.

ISQ Response Rates
The Distance Learning ISQ Completion Rates application allows instructors to monitor the progress of their student evaluations for distance learning coursework. Information about courses requiring an online ISQ will only be displayed for the current term during the ISQ evaluation period. This allows instructors to monitor the progress and if necessary, encourage students to complete their evaluations.

Enrollment Services Appeal
Students who wish to appeal decisions related to Financial Aid and Residency, may complete the Enrollment Services Appeal. Students can appeal residency denial decisions related to initial classification and reclassification, Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Decisions, and State and Institutional scholarship decisions. The student can return to this form to check the decision of any appeals submitted.
Fee Slip
The Fee Slip will display the costs for each course for the selected term. Each course is displayed including CRN, course ID, title, hours, and cost. In addition, the Total Course Assessment, other itemized
account activity (examples include: Late Fees, ID Card, Bookstore, Financial Aid), Other Term Charges, and Total for Term are all displayed.
Immunization Policy (1006.69)
To comply with Florida statute 1006.69 all new matriculating students must submit documentation of vaccination against Hepatitis B and Meningococcal Meningitis or sign a waiver for each vaccine. A ‘Need Immunization – Meng/Hep B’ hold (IH) will be placed on all active students (effective Summer 2008), if one does not already exists. When the student then views their holds, there is a link to the Immunization Policy where the student selects either a Waiver of Liability or that they will provide dates of immunization to the Office of Medical Compliance for both Meningitis and Hepatitis B. The Office of Medical Compliance is responsible for providing immunization clearance for students.

Information Hold
Due to some changes to various regulations or laws during the 2009 year, UNF developed a method using holds for informing the students regarding these new rules. When the student then views their holds, there is a link to the specific information related to that hold. The student must check the consent box and select the submit button. Once this is done, then the hold is lifted.

Non-disclosure Request
Under the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, a student has the right to request non-disclosure of Directory Information. If a student elects non-disclosure, the University of North Florida cannot, except under certain circumstances described in this University's policy found in Rule 6C9-3.015, FAC, disclose a student’s Directory Information without prior written consent.

Student Conduct Disclosure Hold
In an effort to maintain a secure and safe educational, social, and workplace environment for the UNF community, the Division of Student & International Affairs updated the Student Conduct Code policy in October 2009 to include a requirement that all students self-report being convicted and/or charged with a criminal offense within 30 days of any convictions or charges related to a criminal offense other than minor traffic offenses. To facilitate delivery of this information, an informational hold is placed on all registered students at three weeks into the term.
When the student then views their holds, there is a link to the Student Conduct Disclosure form where the student indicates whether they have had an offense or conviction and, if so, whether it has been reported to Student Affairs. After completing the form, the informational hold is automatically lifted.

Transcripts and Enrollment Verifications
UNF's online transcript request and enrollment verification services are hosted by the National Student Clearinghouse. This service provides you with the ability to obtain an enrollment certificate to print or mail to health insurers, banks, or other companies that request proof of your enrollment. Additionally, official transcripts can be ordered using any major credit card. Your card will be charged when the transcripts are sent. Order updates will be emailed to you and you can also use the service to track your order online.
